GravitasPrivacy Policy
Gravitas keeps your notes, projects, events and profile on your iPhone. We don’t collect, see, sell or share any of it.
What stays on your iPhone
Everything you add to Gravitas: notes, projects, events, reminders, photos, your name and profile picture, and your settings. It’s stored in the app’s own space on your iPhone and shared only with the Gravitas widgets on the same device. Gravitas has no accounts and no servers, so this information never reaches us.
Backups
Your iPhone’s iCloud or computer backup includes Gravitas, the same as other apps. Those backups are handled by Apple under your Apple Account and its privacy settings.
No tracking or analytics
Gravitas has no analytics, advertising or tracking, and contains no third-party code that collects data. It doesn’t link your information with other apps or websites.
Permissions
Each permission is optional and asked for only when you use the feature that needs it. You can change them anytime in Settings › Apps › Gravitas.
- Camera: to take photos for your notes.
- Microphone and Speech Recognition: to turn your voice into note text while you dictate.
- Calendars: to show your Apple Calendar events next to your Gravitas events, only if you turn this on in Gravitas Settings. Gravitas only reads these events and never changes them.
- Siri: to save notes when you ask Siri, only if you turn this on in Gravitas Settings.
- Notifications: to remind you about notes and events.
Dictation and Siri
Gravitas transcribes dictation on your iPhone whenever your device supports it. Otherwise, and for Siri requests, your voice is processed by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. Gravitas only receives the resulting text.
Links and images in notes
If a note contains a link or an image from the web, your iPhone loads it directly from that website when you open the note. That website can see the request as it would from any browser.
Deleting your data
Deleted notes, projects and events stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days, then are removed for good. You can empty Recently Deleted sooner, or delete the Gravitas app to remove everything it stored on your iPhone.
Children
Gravitas is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear here and in the Gravitas app, with a new date at the top.
